Western Civ

today we got our test back and I didn't do well at all so I'm thinking about retaking it. also today we took notes on the rise of christianity and the fall of the Roman Empire and the roman roots of western civilization. I took pretty good notes I think but I couldn't really focus cause Amon was making this annoying sound with his book. Also I don't know how I did bad on this test I studied all night and we could even use our blogs.

today we had a test I studied really hard last night and I think I did really well but I always think that and then I get like an f. But this time I studied really hard and I'm hoping I get at least a b if not an a. I'm so happy there was latin on the test bc at least I know I got those ones right. I'm hoping to bring my grade up by mid quarters and hopefully its doesn't go down!!! I have a low C already

today we took notes on the questions that are going to be on the test tomorrow. I'm kinda nervous that the test is going to be really hard and I'm going to get a bad grade but I believe in myself. I have had latin for 5 years so at least I will get whatever questions involve latin right. I HOPE there is latin on the test

today we learned about all the new emporeres and how some were good some wee bad and others were insane. we learned how Nixon almost got impeached and how he resigned b4 they could impeach him so he wouldn't get charged with criminal acts.

today we heard my favorite song that u created. It was all about the stuff we have learned all about Rome. we took a lot of notes about a new ruler and about how ceasar was killed by his own people how he was stabbed because they though he was going to get to much power and start killing people like taken the proud who got a little loud. I stayed for the honers class who are very far behind compared to us.

today we studied Rome a little more and we studied how the government gave great to the plebs to make them quiet we also learned about the circus Maximus where they do chariot races to fight each other and also we learned how the slaves revolted against the government and how ceaser game into play as a roman general and he was really good with plans and also he Concorde Gual made friends with Pompey and CRACUSS who was the richest man in Rome also about the crossing the rubicon which is a new phrase which means crossing a big descsion in your life.

today we learned about Rome and its war we learned a lot about the p war and how it took like 100 years and stuff we had grandparents day today so we didn't do much we also had a shadow in class today and u said something really funny about the f work but u meant it meaning fighting lol class want that boring today

class today was about how similar the government in Rome at this time was so similar to the us government and how they both have 3 parts legislated and 2 other that I forget today we mostly just took notes the whole time but it was still okay even though I was super tired and about to fall asleep

today we learned about roman government and we heard about this wierd story about sextus and his mom and his dad which I forget his name. we took a lot of notes on Rome but we also took  notes by ourselves. the story was really weird and disturbing.

today we watched the thing in the brown room about genisizing and we learn a lot of people were killed all over the world. we heard some of the juniors and seniors say names and speeches and poems of people that died. We heard beautiful poetry and it was really inspirational and heart breaking.

today we learned about Rome again and we learned why Rome is so much like Greece. we learned about roman mythology how Rome was founded by 2 boys raised by a she wolf. We learned the 3 main groups who Rome was founded by including the latin people. I learned latin for 5 years at my old school so know its cool to learn the history of Latins.

today we learned about Rome while 2 people did their test which I did really bad on oopsy but we still have all quarter to get my grade up and I keep remembering to do these blogs I can get my grade up a lot quicker. Rome so far doesn't seem that much different than Greece and their culture. I have always wanted to go to Rome but have never gotten the chance to go yet. I think we should go on a class field trip there for senior year.
