greek farming and diet- homer- Crete conquered

today we learned more about Greece. We learned about the farming and the diet and the Minoans and mostly just about all the culture and all of Greece. We learned how Mycineanas absorbed Crete's Minoan culture when they took over Crete. We got the beginning of the odyssey read to us which was fun. but we learned the back round of the book more than getting it read to us. We learned that Homer was the only person that wrote what was happening in over 400 years of no writing. The part I liked the most was finding out that Greece is nice all year long which I would love to visit right now during this cold winter.
