today we took a test and it wasn't super hard so I think I did pretty well my notes helped a lot for the government stuff and the word polis I really needed to know what a that 3 layered ship was because it had a question on it but I didn't know that answer at all so that was great but other than that I think I did well.  today we read about how art and architecture were huge and they built a temple 30 ft tall made of ivory and gold and also we learned about another war this one between Sparta and Athens and how Athens should have won. because they were rich but all. they had was a strong navy while Sparta had a strong army and was very had to be attacked by water because of the way the land was. So then Athens got a horrible plegua and it wiped out 1/3 OF THE POPULATION. then since both sides were tired and done with war the both sighed a truce. which didn't stay for long.

today we studied Rome a little more and we studied how the government gave great to the plebs to make them quiet we also learned about the circus Maximus where they do chariot races to fight each other and also we learned how the slaves revolted against the government and how ceaser game into play as a roman general and he was really good with plans and also he Concorde Gual made friends with Pompey and CRACUSS who was the richest man in Rome also about the crossing the rubicon which is a new phrase which means crossing a big descsion in your life.

first day no notes

Today it is my first day in class your class and also the first day of the 2nd semester. this will be much different from last semester because Mr. Fendrick didn't make us really do any work. But today we also set up our new blog and got it explained to us and how to do them. These will be nice when we need to study for our test. Hopefully we get to use them for one of our test this quarter. I think I will. like this class much better. Maybe this quarter I can get an A by continually doing my blogs.
